They are used for many applications in clean mobility and logistics as well as in secure energy supply. <\/h4>\n        <div class=\"intro__text\"><p>ZBT stands for comprehensive expertise in the <strong>development, design and qualification<\/strong> of components, materials and production processes related to fuel cells. In addition, ZBT offers practical system solutions for hydrogen technologies. <\/p>\n<p>A particular focus is placed on all levels of the <strong>technological value chain<\/strong> \u2013 especially polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells \u2013 from materials research to system integration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"teaser-grid teaser-grid--white\"\n    dir=\"ltr\">\n    <div class=\"teaser-grid__content\" dir=\"ltr\">\n        <h2 class=\"teaser-grid__heading\">Membrane Electrode Assemblies<\/h2>\n        <div class=\"teaser-grid__text\"><p>The <strong>membrane electrode assembly<\/strong> (MEA) forms the heart of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEM-FC). It is here that chemical energy is converted into electrical energy.
