ZBT Committees<\/h1>\n

The ZBT is an affiliated institute and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) since 2005. The shareholders’ meeting is formed by the UDE Rectorate. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Supervisory Board<\/strong> monitors the strategic orientation of the ZBT and is composed of representatives from the University of Duisburg-Essen, relevant ministries in North Rhine-Westphalia and external experts from the ZBT’s field of business. In addition, the chair of the Scientific Advisory Board and a representative of the City of Duisburg are members of the board in an advisory capacity. The Supervisory Board usually meets twice a year. <\/p>\n

The Scientific Advisory Board<\/strong> advises the shareholders and management on strategic issues and has comprehensive rights of inspection into ZBT’s non-profit research and development projects.<\/p>\n

The support association<\/strong> was founded in 2002 to strengthen the connection between industry and ZBT. It provides financial support to ZBT and appoints members to the scientific advisory board. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Advisory Board<\/h2>\n

The Scientific Advisory Board advises the shareholders and management on strategic issues. It has comprehensive rights of inspection with regard to non-profit research and development projects and planned initiatives. The shareholders appoint at least three members, while the Friends’ Association holds 40% of the seats. In addition, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia may appoint two representatives as permanent guests. Further members may be elected on the recommendation of the management. The advisory board usually meets once a year. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Our supporting association<\/h2>\n

The ZBT e.V. support association assists us in the development and dissemination of innovative technologies in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technology. Since its foundation in 2002, the association has pursued the goal of promoting exchange between industry, research and public institutions, thereby accelerating the further development of future technologies. Through its work, the association not only provides financial support for projects, but also access to a broad network of experts and partners. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
